About the team behind RiskClear — RiskClear was founded in 2013 by John and Cecilia. It was born out of real feedback from private hospitals about what they actually needed from a risk and quality management solution. From there, John worked closely with hospitals every step of the way. As a result, the goal became clear — to directly address the challenges healthcare teams face every day.
Ultimately, the result is a platform that is practical, purpose-built, and continuously shaped by the people who use it. Above all, John’s commitment to listening has always set RiskClear apart. Together with the hands-on healthcare expertise of our growing team, RiskClear has evolved into something truly built for the industry — not just sold to it.

John O'Halloran
Business Owner & Software Developer
John started RiskClear with a simple goal — to give hospitals a better way to manage risk, compliance, and quality. From the very beginning, he single-handedly designed and coded the platform from the ground up. Throughout this process, his greatest asset has always been his ability to listen. Consequently, by working closely with hospital clients at every step, he built software that people actually wanted to use — practical, intuitive, and shaped by the people on the ground.
More than a decade later, John continues to lead all development of RiskClear. As a result, the platform remains relevant, innovative, and always evolving. In addition to this, John remains personally available for client support. Ultimately, for John, building great software and looking after the people who use it have always gone hand in hand.
Cecilia Foley
Business Owner & Admin/Accounts Manager
Cecilia co-founded RiskClear with John. While John leads the technical side of the business, Cecilia is the backbone of everything behind the scenes — overseeing all administrative, accounts, and financial operations with the same dedication and attention to detail that has helped RiskClear grow into the trusted platform it is today.
Giselle Latta
Client Liaison & Learning Manager
With over 35 years as a registered nurse and almost 20 years in risk and quality management in hospitals, Giselle brings unmatched clinical expertise to the RiskClear team. Joining in 2021 as National Client Liaison and Learning Manager, Giselle is your go-to person for training and support — combining real-world healthcare experience with a genuine commitment to helping clients get the most out of RiskClear.
Roger Ong
Lead Software Engineer
With over 20 years of experience across a wide range of software development projects, Roger brings a wealth of technical expertise to the RiskClear team. Joining in 2025 as Lead Software Developer, Roger is responsible for all development of the RiskClear platform — working closely with John to ensure the software is robust, reliable, and continuously improving. His broad development background and deep technical knowledge are instrumental in bringing RiskClear to life.
Annie O'Halloran
Digital Designer & Marketing
Annie brings a background in digital design, UX/UI, and marketing to the RiskClear team, joining in 2024. She manages all of the company’s digital marketing, graphic design, and website, as well as leading the user interface design of the RiskClear platform — ensuring it looks great and feels intuitive for every user.

These two are integral members of the support team — always on hand to boost morale, provide emotional support during training sessions, and ensure the Melbourne office runs smoothly.
